Prioritize Your Health with Compassionate, Confidential Care

Taking care of yourself isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. At FirstCare Urgent Care Center in Oak Lawn, IL, we provide personalized yearly women’s health exams that help you stay ahead of health concerns and feel confident in your care. Whether you're coming in for a routine check-up, managing a chronic condition, or simply making your health a priority again, our team is here to support you with compassion and clinical expertise.

Women’s bodies go through many changes over time—hormonal shifts, pregnancies, stress, menopause, and everything in between. An annual wellness visit gives you the opportunity to check in on your physical and reproductive health, screen for potential concerns, and ask questions in a safe, supportive setting. At FirstCare, our exams are comprehensive yet comfortable, focused on early detection and prevention—not just paperwork.

During your visit, we’ll start with a full review of your personal and family health history, including any medications, symptoms, or life changes you may be experiencing. We’ll then perform a general physical exam, checking your vital signs, heart and lung function, and other key markers of overall health. Depending on your age and needs, we can also provide:

Breast exams

Pelvic exams

Pap smears and cervical cancer screening

STI testing and counseling

Birth control consultation

Menstrual or menopause symptom management

Lab work (as needed)

Referrals for mammograms or specialist care
