Convenient, In-House Lab Work with Fast Results

When you’re not feeling well—or managing a condition that requires monitoring—waiting days to get lab tests done and results back can be stressful and inconvenient. At FirstCare Urgent Care Center in Oak Lawn, IL, we simplify the process by offering on-site lab testing services with fast turnaround times. That means you don’t have to schedule a separate lab visit, drive across town, or delay care. Everything you need is handled right here, under one roof.

Lab tests play a crucial role in diagnosing illnesses, evaluating symptoms, and monitoring your overall health. Whether you’re here for a yearly physical, a same-day illness, or a travel or employment screening, our in-house lab capabilities help ensure a fast and accurate diagnosis.

We proudly serve patients across Oak Lawn, Burbank, Evergreen Park, Hometown, and Bedford Park, offering walk-in access to common lab tests—no referral needed. From the moment you arrive, our experienced medical team will guide you through the process with care and clarity.

Our on-site lab testing includes, but is not limited to:

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)

  • Urinalysis (UTI testing, drug screening)

  • Rapid strep test

  • Influenza A/B test

  • COVID-19 antigen or PCR testing

  • Mononucleosis test

  • Blood sugar and glucose testing

  • Cholesterol and lipid panels

  • Pregnancy tests

  • STD/STI testing

  • Vitamin level testing (e.g., B12, D)

Lab testing at FirstCare is efficient and discreet. Most rapid test results are available the same day, while more complex panels are returned within a few days. We’ll contact you as soon as your results are in, explain what they mean, and guide you through next steps—whether that’s medication, further testing, or simply peace of mind.

If your test requires fasting or special preparation, we’ll provide all necessary instructions ahead of time. And if you need documentation for work, school, or travel, our team will ensure you receive printed or digital records to take with you.

We accept most major PPO insurance plans and also offer affordable self-pay pricing for uninsured patients. Our goal is to make important diagnostic care accessible to everyone—without surprise bills or weeks of waiting.

As a physician-led urgent care center, we are committed to providing accurate, timely care with your convenience in mind. If your condition requires prescriptions, follow-up care, or referrals to a specialist, we’ll make sure you’re fully supported.

At FirstCare Urgent Care Center, lab testing is just one part of how we deliver fast, full-service healthcare in Oak Lawn. Walk in anytime or schedule your visit online—we’ll take care of the rest.
